Terms of Service — RehabCardia

RehabCardia is a digital cardiac rehabilitation platform. It allows healthcare providers to assign exercise programs to patients, track adherence, exchange messages, and manage appointments. The App supports — but does not replace — the clinical care you receive from your healthcare provider.

2. Medical disclaimer

The App does not provide medical advice. Exercise programs, feedback, and messages within the App are provided by your own healthcare provider. Always follow the guidance of your doctor. Stop exercising and seek immediate medical attention if you experience chest pain, severe shortness of breath, dizziness, or any symptom of concern. In an emergency, call your local emergency number — do not use the App to seek emergency help.

3. Accounts

Accounts are created by your healthcare provider. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify your clinic immediately if you suspect unauthorised access. We may suspend accounts to protect the security of the service or where these Terms are breached.

You retain ownership of content you submit (messages, feedback, attachments). You grant us a limited licence to store and process that content solely to operate the service and make it available to your care team.

6. Availability

We aim to keep the App available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The App may be unavailable during maintenance or due to events beyond our control. Your care program continues to exist independently of the App's availability.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RehabCardia is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the App. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability arising from negligence causing personal injury where such limitation is prohibited.

8. Termination

Your clinic may deactivate your account when your program ends. We may terminate or suspend access for breach of these Terms. Sections 2, 5, 7, and 9 survive termination.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operating clinic is established, unless mandatory consumer law in your country of residence provides otherwise.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be notified through the App or by your clinic.
